"This Giant Eagle is truly Giant. my friend and I jokingly call these stores "large animal" since their previous iteration was Big Bear.\n\nServing Grandview Heights/Marble Cliff, and the Tri Village area, as well as OSU/Harrison West/Victorian Village.\n\nOfferings includes a full service bakery that can produce custom decorated cakes. Pro tip: try the white cake with cream cheese frosting. These are typically for birthdays, but sometimes you just really want this cake. It is ahhhhhmazing.\n\nThere is also a state of Ohio liquor store, a large wine, selection, and extensive beers and ales available.\n\nHot foods are prepared here with a deli also among the offerings, and sushi chefs on staff. If you don't want to cook, but you're looking for something to eat there is an answer here. \n\nLarge produce section just inside the front door, and the meat department has butchers on staff, as well as prepackaged items. \n\nHuge dairy department. \n\nRegular grocery offerings are of course available in the central zone of the store. \n\nThere is a pharmacy on site, and a large over-the-counter, non-prescription, and herbal/supplement section in the store. \n\nnearby there are fuel pumps at the associated Get-Go location."

"I just want to give a huge shout-out to this Whole Foods location. I genuinely look forward to grocery shopping when I come here, which says a lot because we all know it can feel overwhelming sometimes. The staff is always so willing to help and consistently kind. I've even gotten to know a few of them by name, and it truly feels like walking into a neighborhood grocery store where you're greeted by familiar faces.\n\nEverything is easy to find, always fresh, and honestly just tastes better. I can get everything I need in one trip, and I've been meaning to leave this review for a while. Whatever hiring or training process you use clearly works, because the team here is made up of some of the friendliest, most helpful, hardworking people.\n\nThank you for making grocery shopping feel enjoyable and welcoming. And the social space--complete with the fireplace, coffee, and ready-to-eat food--just takes it to another level. It's such a cool addition to the whole experience."

Is it acceptable in American English to pronounce "grocery" as "groshery"?
For example, pronouncing GROCERY as GRAW-SER-AY would be incorrect; which essentially sums up my argument. While it is true that a word can be pronounced "incorrectly", this particular word has several "correct", and widespread pronunciations that are under-represented in many dictionaries.

I work "in a grocery store" or "at a grocery store" [duplicate]
They are almost interchangeable, but you could convey a subtle difference in meaning. If you're trying to describe your job / what you do, you'd want to say you work "at" a grocery store. Working "in" a grocery store describes the location you work at. For example, I work in an office, but I work at a company.
