The only MF combine left is the Ideal and AGCO has decided to label them Fendt for NA. In the rest of the world you can get MF combines even the Ideal is badged MF. Merry Christmas everyone.

The Insight is there for one of two purposes: 1) the head was converted to work with a 9x00/10 series combine. If this is what you have, you will need this, and more. 2) the head has (or had) Headsight sensors installed under the skids for operating in wheat/rye/oats, etc in rigid mode. The sensors are removed when operating in flex.
Double what you pay for the combine to make repairs the first year. Than plan on 10% of the price of the combine in repairs yearly. SO if you find a machine for $10k, plan on $10K repairs right of the bat, and then $1K every year. If you don't have this expense - you got lucky! Always carry a large fire extinguisher in the combine.
My combine did not have lateral tilt, and I centered the headers center feed drum up with my feederhouse chain. I know it doesn’t have the correct gleaner offset but it seems pretty minimal in the grand scheme of things.
How far will your machine spreads the straw, how long are your fields, and the size of the combine grain tank all factor in the header width decision for us. I want my combine to spread the straw the full width of header cut so the nutrients from the straw are evenly put back on the land.
