Though some thought the Vikings could be in position to make a splash after upsetting the Detroit Lions last weekend to get back to .500 on the season, the team allowed the NFL’s trade deadline to pass without making any moves.

The Washington Commanders won't have to face the Detroit Lions without linebacker Frankie Luvu anymore. Luvu was initially given a one-game suspension for his third hip-drop tackle of the season, but the NFL overturned the suspension and instead gave him a $100,000 fine, meaning he'll be eligible this week.
