LIV Golf, will transition to a traditional 72-hole, four-day tournament format beginning with the 2026 season, abandoning its signature 54-hole structure that has defined the breakaway league since its inception.
Additionally, as outlined in PGA Tour regulations, any non-PGA Tour member who plays in the LIV Golf Promotions event, because of its status as an unauthorized event, would be subject to a one-year ban from playing in PGA Tour-sanctioned events. That includes playing in Monday qualifiers and receiving sponsor’s exemptions.
